Toward the end of last year we had the pleasure to meet, stay with, and photograph a wonderful couple at their family home in Mexico. Their remarkable hospitality and love of family were brilliantly reflected in their recent vineyard wedding at Ponte Winery.
Irma was tucked away in an ivy-covered cottage, just steps away from the ceremony site.
Joni Keller wrapped up the makeup, excited bridesmaids give Irma a moment of privacy.
The anticipation was building as both parties got ready, just steps away from each other.
Check out those amazing shoes.
Irma was beaming!
And there’s Bill. And they spent a few moments apart before the First Look.
Irma’s mom, sister, and nieces were there as we got a few shots of this lovely lady.
We love this part…
Things are just better when they’re together!
A few sweet moments together.
Michael’s Flower Girl provided the classically styled flowers.
Gotta love the vineyards in the Temecula area. They made the perfect setting for some private pre-ceremony photos.
Gotta love that setting.
Ponte’s Barrel Room, with its backlit barrels and giant rustic doors, was a stunning backdrop for some romantic portraits. The fact that it was really cool in there was just a bonus!
The ceremony site was completed and ready for guests to arrive.
Tell me that’s not one of the cutest flower girls you’ve ever seen.
We still had a few minutes the ceremony so we took the opportunity to include the wedding party in the love.
Great coral dresses – all in a slightly different style.
Tears came as Irma thanked her sister for being her matron of honor.
The men never want to be left out of photos. Regardless of how untrue that is, these guys were great sports.
Bill and his son gave us a smile together. Thems some sharp-lookin’ dudes!

Let no great wedding moment go by without a photo.
Watching Irma’s dad bring his bride…
Rabbi Ian Adler joyfully joined two families in eternal love.
The weather was perfect, by the way.
Hand on heart.
Guests were given an invitation to knock out some photos of the couple. That was our queue to point the lens in the opposite direction. If you look closely you can see Michael from Black Tie Productions in the background.
It’s official!
Guests headed to cocktail hour, congratulations were in order, and the reception room was bedecked for a party.
Meanwhile, the newlyweds cuddled up for some photos and formals with family.
We took advantage of the great light and they basked in marital bliss.
You never know what to expect from Bill.
A stunning cake from Cakes to Celebrate stood ready for that big moment.
The many great details and logistics were handled – exceptionally – by Jen Molloy of Amoré Events.
A few poignant words
The fine folks at Coffee Couture made sure the guests were well caffeinated for a night of celebration!
Mike and Brian tore it up.
And there were even macaroons!
The party was a very relaxed and joyful event with plenty of conversation and laughter.
With plenty of ‘receptiony’ events too…
The newlyweds shared their first dance, and then welcomed the rest of their guests onto the dance floor.
This is a couple anyone would be proud to know. They are kind, down-to-earth. and totally made for each other. Mazel tov, Irma and Bill!
