With the last few moments left in this year, I’ll share a cool little event hosted by the good folks at SHS Marriott in Oceanside. But what occasion would call for bringing out the Marines?
A Toys for Tots drive, of course!
Oceanside High School brought their talented band to entertain guests with some Christmas music.
OHS Pirates lent their cheerleaders for the evening as well.
The Top Gun house disappears along with the sun.
This is literal holiday cheer.
A few words to guests before lighting the tree.
And Marriott’s own Liz Murphy did a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
A countdown in unison and the tree comes to life!
Street tacos were just part of the tasty menu.
Marriott reps (including Maria Hernandez who pulled off this event in record time) spend time with some our nation’s heroes.
Aptly named DJ Noel and friends brought the party well into the night.
