It wasn’t until we were on this shoot that I realized just how much Jessica looks like her aunt, Irma. We met this lovely couple last year when we photographed Irma’s wedding in Temecula, and have been privileged enough to continue our service to this family (which will extend to a third wedding next year!). A nicer, cooler, more comfortable pair you won’t meet this is a look at our short time with them in L.A..
They not only let us make the suggestions for locations, they were on board for our top three choices, starting with the Walk Disney Concert Hall.
Sometimes I like the photos to skip around a bit. This is a stop in the hills by the Griffith Observatory during twilight.
As did the Urban Light at LACMA, our last stop of the day. Always wanted to check that place out!
Great smiles, nice weather, and amazing architecture. What more do you want?!
“Hey… I know it’s cold, there’re a million photographers down there, you’re wearing high heels and it’s getting dark but… would you be willing jump up on that bench for shot?” Less than a second later, they looked like this.
None of us were comfortable on this narrow “path” but we’re grateful for couples who trust us implicitly. The black void was as distant and deep as it looks. And when the flash was gone… darkness, peril and death everywhere! Sorta.
Jess + JD… thank you for reminding us how lucky we are to have incredible couples like you to share in our little adventures.
