Brian Regan visits the Tim Conway Jr Show

I’ve met some interesting folks through the years, but rarely gone out of my way to do so.  My friend and colleague, Jeff Roldan, has gotten to know the good folks at KFI studios in Burbank – specifically at the Tim Conway Jr show.  When he told me he could use help on a small shoot at KFI and that Brian Regan would probably be there, I did what I had to to make it. As soon as we got there, John and Ken were finishing up their show.

Let me introduce you to the incredibly talented and hospitable Conway crew.   First, the man himself…

Here’s Aron Bender bringing news to the masses.

The first thing that struck me was how incredibly comfortable Tim is in his environment.

Well… it’s on schedule.  I’ll believe it when he shows up.

I spent almost every day in college listening to KFI’s more stimulating talk radio.  It was really cool to be there.

And then the guy we quote on an almost daily basis walked in the door.  If you haven’t heard Brian Regan do standup, you’re seriously missing out.

Two comedy geniuses.  Seriously.

An incredibly talented and brilliant guy making magic and changing lives.  And there’s Brian Regan too!
(And that’s why I’m not the one who makes a living doing comedy.) I love this image.  One of the things Kellye and I often quote is the bit where Brian is thanked by some jerk on the road with the raise of a pinky.  I asked him if I could get a shot of him doing that for Kellye and he fully spun around and got into character.  Thanks, Brian! And we wrapped the evening with a couple small shoots.  Yes, Tim is actually throwing the baseball down the hall at close to full speed.  I think someone was killed. It was a really cool evening and I’m forever grateful to Jeff and the Conway team.
And Brian Regan was just as funny and gracious in person as any fan would hope.
