A beautiful Valentine’s Day wedding in a quaint, historic neighborhood could only be made more perfect with the marriage of two great people from excellent families. We had the pleasure of covering just such an event last month.
The day entire day took place in and amongst these great, Victorian buildings in Old Town San Diego.
The Jewish Temple was a great setting for Aubrey and her girls as they got ready for the day.
Meanwhile, Sean waited patiently to lay eyes on his bride.
I love the simplicity of this building. And the girls took advantage of all the great light it provided.
The best part of the day is almost always the First Look…
Though this is the first time the reveal was accompanied with a pinch!
That porch was just begging for a formal photo.
And a few steps away is where the big event was planned.
Even before the ceremony we saw another family we’ve grown to love through the years. The McKeys have given us the pleasure of shooting both daughters’ weddings.
And the trumpets sounded.
Singing with their guests – just like Aubrey sisters’ wedding. Love it.
All the parents praying together. Did I mention we love this family?
Our former bride, Janessa. Oh, and her daughter.
Puttin’ a ring on it!
I’ve got a long-standing crush on candid photos taken right after the recession.
In the shade of one amazing tree.
Check out that spread.
Some of our favorite receptions are guest-centric, informal, relaxed events. This was definitely one of those.
We’re big fans of Aubrey’s folks.
New papa and one of our formal grooms. A big thanks goes out to Colin and Janessa!
They wanted to make sure to have some photos with the trees. It seems our goals were nicely in sync. 🙂
A few last-minute portraits before the grand exit.
Getting the trees involved in one last photo.
We are so grateful to be part of your amazing day. God’s blessings to you in your marriage and exciting new life together!
