A very special thanks goes out to our clients who graciously hosted us at their amazing property in Mexico. This image is taken from their back patio.
In September, we welcomed a new furry family member into the house. Her name is Bella, and she was about 12 weeks old when we met her. A friend of ours rescues animals, and places them with foster families. We decided to foster Bella until we made a decision to adopt.
The night she arrived, our old man, Charlie Charmer, wasn’t sure what to make of her. At six years old, he’s not as spry as he used to be, and Bella is all energy.
Pretty soon, we realized we had to break it to Charlie: Bella was going to be a permanent fixture at our house.
She never runs out of cool places to hide.
And she basks in the rays of fake sunshine she finds everywhere.
She’s managed to kick Charlie out of every one of his favorite hiding places.
And she’s still working on her table manners.
But we soon found that Charlie and Bella were inseparable. They like sharing the same rug in the kitchen while Mom cooks dinner.
And Bella’s not shy when it comes to helping with home improvement projects.
She has brought a sense of adventure to our family!
And Charlie’s a pretty generous big brother. He’ll even concede his favorite spot on the windowsill so she can get a bird’s-eye view of the neighborhood.
She really likes helping Dad work.
Plus, she IS pretty cute.
We’re happy to announce that Bella Brie Bojorquez is a permanent part of Studio 512. We hope she likes getting her picture taken. The camera loves her!
Once in a while, a wedding comes along that just has all the elements of an unforgettable, meaningful, tear-filled, Divinely appointed day… and this was one of those events. It took place at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA. Amy’s family had been going there every year since she was a little girl. It has forever been the place of her dreams to get married on the grounds. And her vision came true…
David was ready in the blink of an eye.
Amy’s bridesmaids helped her get rid of any pre-ceremony jitters – though there really didn’t seem to be any.
Check out these great shoes.
In addition to being very involved in the details of the day, super mom – Bethany – helped her put on the dress. Perfect choice, wouldn’t you say?
She also gave Amy this incredible bracelet, consisting of diamonds from many of the important women in their family.
A breath of air before the First Look.
Seeing each other for first time can be overwhelming.
Did I mention how much we love First Looks? A genuine, quiet moment together, nothing can beat.
Amy decided to have her girls enjoy the experience with them.
Just being together.
Girls enjoying some beautiful light together. This was one of our all-time favorite groups of bridesmaids.
A moment in the lobby for dad and bride.
Gotta love the Park Hyatt. If you’re gonna be here, talk to Elizabeth Holman, who did a fantastic job coordinating for the hotel. The event coordinator, Shelleen Valenty worked her tail off and made everything run beautifully.
Look at this stunning bunch! Made up mostly of her volleyball team and his basketball guys, we were definitely feeling shorter than usual.
Completely calm in her room before the ceremony.
Can you just hear Canon in D?
I love this shot Kellye captured from above.
Proud Papa.
Isn’t that arch amazing? Custom-made for them and shipped from Mexico. It’s all in the details – if you can call that a detail.
David’s family was fully engaged at the ceremony. Even the impeccably dressed kids in the back there!
The first day we met Amy, she saw one of our books and said, “Oh.. I love that shot up over their shoulders looking back at the whole event. I want one like that.”
Giving it to God. What it’s all about.
It’s officially official!
Practicing the first dance.
Check out the guests in the mirror.
And the crowd goes wild!
Right into the first dance…
Great toasts – just as you’d expect.
Amy’s dad, Tom, is very comfortable speaking to large crowds. This was a whole new experience for him, but he was a natural and did an amazing job.
David’s mom enjoying a moment with her son.
This is taken from the stage of the one and only, Wayne Foster Band, who rocked the house and did an unbelievable job.
Almost every guest got on the dance floor.
Check out those hops!
Dancing Selfie!
Some Piano Bling.
It’s amazing that stage held up with so many people on it. We had a serious party on our hands.
And a moment together before the evening wrapped.
Thank you Amy + David. We had a truly amazing time with you and your families!

This is story of love, reunions, and redemption. Kelly + David are one of those special couples whose wedding – and marriage – conveys God’s love in an amazing and colorful way. Being in full-time ministry through the Salvation Army, their event took place at Pine Summit in Big Bear, which was very cool.
And the day started with rain. Lots of plan-dampening rain.
Part of their vision and dream for their day included vows under the trees. A dream that was quickly and dramatically fading.
And the rain continued in spades. It was one of those scenarios where you hear people say, “It would literally take a miracle to have the outdoor ceremony today.”
So we prayed for one.
Kelly was glowing. Also… the sun was threatening to come out, which seemed impossible.
But the sun did come out – just in time. And so did family they weren’t sure would make it.
With some last-minute help, the outdoor ceremony commenced.
It was so cool that her son’s were such a big part of the day.
Although beautiful, the chapel in the background would’ve paled for the ceremony in comparison to the Great Outdoors. So grateful for clear skies!
So many great folks who are like family were there. It was awesome.
Vows, commitments, promises.
Singing and sign language.
Oh yeah!
The reception was a great time with food, friends, family, and fellowship. And cupcakes.
David feeding Kelly a scrumptious pink cupcake on her wedding day with her sons looking on. I think this was a full-blown dream come true for her!
Easily some of the best toasts we’ve ever heard.
The man on the mic.
Have you figured out Kelly’s favorite color?
Many blessings to you guys. We really appreciate you having us and wouldn’t have missed it for the world!
